South Park – Fractured, but whole.

A follow up to 2014’s “South Park: The Stick of Truth” this time takes our favourite cartoons away from the fantasy theme and turns them into superheroes on the mission to generate one billion dollars in superhero merchandise.
The new superhero crime-fighting unit formed by Eric Cartman alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, a half racoon is on the mission to power, fame, and a bunch of money. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite,Mosquito, Mint Berry Crunch and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history (and make some profit, of course). But… South Park would not be South Park if the kids would not split and make a civil war.

Creators of South Park series Matt Stone and Trey Parker are actively involved in every step of the development of the game and that will surely bring the true South Park experience to the table.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed seems to make headlines for PC Gaming News all the time, and it Looks like this time it’s a big hit. Origins takes us back to ancient Egypt to see the history of Brotherhood of Assassins and their antagonists Templar Order. Some new things introduced: “Eagle Vision” which used to help the main hero to highlight all the enemies in sight, replaced by a companion – an actual eagle Senu, whom the player can send ahead to scout the area and highlight enemies which then will be visible by Bayek, the main character. Bayek can also tame different
predators, which will help him in the fight.

There will be some naval combat, underwater encounters and lots of tomb exploration. There are not that many high points to climb, as in the previous series, even though they still exist. Also, the game features completely revised combat mechanics, where “paired animation system” replaced by “hit-box system”. What it means for us is that instead of having predetermined animations play out in every combat engagement, as in previous Assassin’s Creed games, we can hit enemies directly, using the character’s weapon, injure individual body parts or miss the enemy completely.

More than that – weapons are categorised and rated by their damage, range and speed, resulting in a unique combat experience with each weapon – Something, which was lacking in prequels. Origins also introduce arena-based the combat system, where Bayek can try his luck as a gladiator, against ever-increasing enemy waves with a final wave culminating in a boss fight. And of course, taking part in those arena battles will yield some nice perks as unique weapons and special equipment. Overall – seems like were’in for a treat.

Frau Engel is hunting Blazkowicz, known to the Nazis as “Terror- Billy”, to stop the Resistance and make the Raich prevail. There is a variety of customisable weapons, most of which can be dual wielded, giving the player the advantage of dealing double the damage, and you can try yourself at silently Assassinating and ambushing the enemies.
