Skywarp, like his name suggests, is able to teleport at will. Skywarp's original tech spec bio indicated that he was a master of sneak attacks, using his teleportation abilities to cause mayhem amongst the Autobots — and his fellow Decepticons when playing malicious pranks. However, his relative lack of intelligence means he needs to be constantly monitored by his superiors Megatron and Starscream, or else he would be useless."The long-awaited Transformers Masterpiece figure of the Decepticon/Destron Air Commander, Skywarp, is finally released! Unlike this original show, this new design is more "realistic" and has been visualized by Shoji Kawamori (the legendary mecha designer for the Macross series). Skywarp's jet mode is a very accurate representation of an F-15 with excellent recessed and darkened panel line detail on the entire figure. Additionally, the jet engine nozzles are nicely detailed and the nozzles can be moved in all directions simulating thrust vectoring. The jet's radar dome can be removed to reveal the mechanism inside, and the flaps and ailerons are moveable, too!
Since this is a Masterpiece figure, the transformation process from jet mode to robot mode is fairly complex and will take some time to accomplish on your first couple of tries. When fully transformed, Skywarp stands approximately 22 cm tall and is amazingly well-articulated right down to the moveable fingers. Skywarp's chest can be lifted up to reveal the missiles just like in the TV animation series, plus his face part can be turned to reveal a sinisterly smirking expression. The only metal parts on this figure are some key joints and the base frame. The rest is made out of ABS plastic.
F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet.Skywarp was given the form of an F-15 Eagle fighter jet. The jet is about 25cm long. There are about 10 movable parts when it is in jet form
Cockpit.Major movable part of MP-06 jet form - Cockpit and canopy. The canopy part is made of transparent plastic, which is clear enough to see cockpit and seat from outside. A tiny plastic "pilot" who is in sitting pose can be separated from the cockpit.
Accessories include a nicely detailed custom display base with stand, two pairs of Sidewinder missiles to replace the nullray guns in jet mode, a joint part for attaching Megatron in gun mode (not included, use the one that comes with MP-01 or MP-04) underneath jet mode.Other Accessories-a sticker sheet for decorating Starscream with Decepticon logos, custom numberings, squadron logos, and caution stencils, .
