DC Super Heroes Art Of The Brick Exhibition London

DC Super Heroes Art Of The Brick Exhibition

Calling all Justice League, Titans, Super Heroes and the Injustice League Super Villains and the Suicide Squad: The Art of the Brick: DC Super Heroes is now available for booking for dates in Spring / Summer 2017 in London.

This contemporary art exhibition uses 2,000,000 bricks created by infamous Lego artist Nathan Sawaya, to create large-scale sculptures of the most iconic Super Heroes and Super Villains: from Batman, Green Lantern, Superman and Wonder Woman, to The Joker and Harley Quinn.

This is the world’s largest collection of Super Heroes-inspired LEGO artwork, ever! By way of a series of immersive galleries, The Art of the Brick: Super Heroes showcases Nathan Sawaya’s productions on characters, vehicles, comic book covers, environments and themes found throughout the DC Super Heroes universe and mythology including transformation and reinvention, strength and weakness, as well as good vs. evil. Release your inner Super Hero and marvel 😉 at these cool creations.

The Art of the Brick: DC Super Heroes is located in the South Bank region of London, by the river Thames, probably with Waterloo being the closest tube station. The exhibition is in a purpose built tent on Upper Ground, directly behind the National Theatre and the BFI, and next door to the Rambert Ballet Company. It is located near the London Eye, Sea Life London Aquarium, and the London Dungeon. It is a quick walk over Westminster Bridge from Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament, as well as by taking Waterloo Bridge from Covent Garden and the West End. The venue is easily accessible via public transport.

Be prepared to sweep aside all of your preconceived notions of what you think it will be like to go to a LEGO exhibition. Think you know all the DC Comics characters? You are probably going to be surprised. Art of the Brick may educate you about the evolution of some of your favourite superheroes. Only hardcore fans will know Robin (Batman’s sidekick) later became Nightwing! Look out for life size Batman and Batmobile all made of LEGO!

Following his celebrated London debut with his original global touring production THE ART OF THE BRICK in 2014, Nathan Sawaya is set to return with THE ART OF THE BRICK: DC SUPER HEROES from 1st March 2017. Go buy some tickets now.
