New Devilman Crybaby Trailer – Netlfix Manga /Anime Series

Devilman Crybaby is coming back to our screens. Yes, many of you probably have never heard this. But 30 years ago, this anime was a bit of a hit. And now, Netflix have concluded plans to bring the hit manga and anime series back to your screen. Available in 2018 Exclusive to Netflix.

To mark the 50th year of Go Nagai’s career, his hit series “Devilman” returns as “ Devilman Crybaby.” Lauded as an “eternal masterpiece” that could never be completely recreated in moving images, the entirety of Devilman will finally be portrayed in Devilman Crybaby.

The director is Masaaki Yuasa, the world-renowned creator known for his work on many high-quality titles such as “Ping Pong the Animation” and “Mind Game.” The series will also feature a screenplay by Ichiro Okouchi and music by Kensuke Ushio. A team of Japan’s top creators gathers to take on the anime adaptation of a legendary manga series…

So what is it about?

Akira Fudo learns from his best friend Ryo Asuka that demons will revive and reclaim the world from humans. With humans hopeless against this threat, Ryo suggests combining with a demon. With this, Akira becomes Devilman, a being with the power of demon but with a human heart.

Masaaki Yuasa will be directing the series, Ichiro Okouchi writes the script, Eunyoung Choi serves as animation director, while Aniplex and Dynamic Planning will be producing the project.
