Now that the Infinity saga is over, the Marvel cinematic universe is on the verge of starting a new phase. While Avengers: Endgame was, in a way, the end of a decade of incredible MCU movies, it’s also the beginning of a whole new chapter for the MCU films.
The Mad Titan Thanos was the overarching bad guy for the first three MCU phases and, as we move to phase four and beyond, the question is, who’ll be the next Thanos?
Now that Marvel Studios can use characters like the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, we could see a massive influx of great characters that Marvel Studios couldn’t use until now. From Doctor Doom to Galactus, many amazing villains are about to make their way to the MCU.
But there’s one villain that we just can’t wait for and we think that all the time traveling in Avengers: Endgame is a good indication that it’s only a matter of time until Kang the Conqueror will arrive in the MCU.
Kang has built empires across time and space and he’s one of the most interesting Marvel villains. He’s a romantic and one of the most powerful bad guys around.
Kang’s domain is the time stream and he’s a very dangerous enemy. We think that all the time traveling in Endgame has caused the creation of multiple new timelines and all of that will get Kang’s attention, leading up to a clash between the Conqueror and the Avengers.
