The Marvel Cinematic Universe features a diverse cast of characters with many different strengths, weaknesses and personalities. Today, we’re going to talk about some of the best partners we’ve ever seen on the big screen. Of course, we have notoriously tight pals Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers, who’ve shared an unbreakable bond for most of their lives, and everyone knows Tony Stark and Rhodey are BFFs both inside of their super suits and outside of them, but we’ll also talk about some of the more subtle and underrated relationships in the MCU. Sure, it’s easy to laugh at Gamora and Star-Lord dancing with one another, but the meaning behind that scene is surprisingly sweet.

Rocket Raccoon is known for being a rather prickly character, but the bond he shared with Groot was super sweet. Until the movie Captain Marvel hit theaters, we didn’t know how much we needed to see the iconic pairing of Carol Danvers and Nick Fury.
