Dragon Ball is a MASSIVE franchise, a huge, sprawling epic that continues to grow to this day. It all started with a little wild child named Goku as he helped a teenage girl find the Dragon Balls on a mystical, Journey to the West-styled adventure that eventually evolved into one of the most intense, martial arts action series in the history of pop culture. What we’re trying to say is that there’s a lot of Dragon Ball to take in, even if we’re just looking at the main canon stuff! From the Pilaf Saga to the Broly Saga, there are plenty of story arcs to enjoy throughout the franchise.

In fact, because there’s so many sagas and because fans are constantly debating which are the best and which are the worst, we decided to rank them all for you right here. We’re looking at all the sagas, from the Saiyan Saga to the Future Trunks Saga to the Frieza Saga to the Universal Survival Saga, to see which were amongst the best and which fell completely flat. We’re gonna be condensing and consolidating some of the smaller sagas where necessary, but we’re still hitting the big ones like the Piccolo Jr. Saga and the Cell Saga so we can keep things more streamlined.
