True love can be found in many ways. Sometimes, it’s love and first sight. Sometimes, deep emotions and feelings can develop over time and, sometimes, we just see a cartoon character that we fall head over heels in love with. Childhood was an interesting time for all of us, with our squishy brains still developing, we were starting to get a sense of what we liked and what we didn’t like. This carried over into the world of cartoons and, for some reason, there was an excessive amount of Nickelodeon shows that featured crush-worthy characters that we couldn’t help but blush hard at.
Some made a lot of sense like Sam Manson from Danny Phantom, Suki from Avatar: The Last Airbender or April O’Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but others caused us to scratch our heads like the robot Jenny Wakeman from My Life as a Teenage Robot or even Mrs. Turner from Fairly OddParents. All of these characters got our hearts beating one way or another and it’s truly amazing how fondly we remember most of these hot Nickelodeon characters.
