Marvel Studios The Eternals – Disney D23 Expo

The Eternals is a new  superhero film based on the Marvel Comics storyline . Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios , it is intended to be the twenty-fifth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Chloé Zhao, written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, and features an amazing cast of Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington.

 

The Eternals is scheduled to be released  on November 6, 2020.

Set at the beginning of the universe, the Eternals, are an immortal alien race created by the Celestials, and are sent to Earth to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker

 

Produced, co-written, and directed by J. J. Abrams. It will be the third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, following The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017). It is being produced by Lucasfilm and Bad Robot Productions, and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film’s ensemble cast includes Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Billie Lourd, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Carrie Fisher,[a] Billy Dee Williams, and Ian McDiarmid. It will be the final film in the nine-part ‘Skywalker saga’, following the original and prequel trilogies.

The Rise of Skywalker will see the Resistance face the First Order once more, and the end of the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith. The film is scheduled to be released  on December 20, 2019.

 

Marvel Studios WandaVision TV Series –

This all New Disney+ TV Series WandaVision stars  Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch & The Mighty Vision played by Paul Bettany. This New Limited TV Series focus’s on their Relationship.Disney D23 Expo

 

The plot takes place following Avengers: Endgame and will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (also featuring Wanda) while exploring where the character’s alias Scarlet Witch comes from. WandaVision will debut in early 2021. At D23, Randall Park and Kat Dennings were announced to reprise their roles Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis in the series. Kathryn Hahn was also cast in an undisclosed role described as “a nosy neighbor”. Matt Shakman was announced as the series’ director..

 

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Disney D23 Expo

Malcolm Spellman was hired to write a limited series that would focus on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson / Falcon and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier Marvel Heroes.

 

In May 2019, it was announced that Falcon and the Winter Soldier will  consist of six episodes directed by Kari Skogland, with Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl set to reprise their roles as Sharon Carter / Agent 13 and Baron Helmut Zemo. The plot of the series will take place following the events of Avengers: Endgame. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is due to premiere in Aug 2020;
