A trailer uploaded on ahead of schedule on the Dutch game store website, Nedgame, appears to have leaked the release window of Cooking Mama: Cookstar. According to the video, the game releases this March on the Nintendo Switch and will be available for US$39.99 (or the regional equivalent).
If you’re not familiar with the Cooking Mama series, it first started out on the Nintendo DS in 2006. Since then, various follow-ups have been released on platforms such as the Wii and 3DS, and there have even been a number of spin-offs like gardening games.
The new trailer above shows Mama back in action, doing what she does best. As you can see, there are more ingredients and recipes than before – like rainbow grilled cheese sandwiches. In addition to this is a new vegetarian mode. In this new entry, you’ll also be able to take a picture of your dish once you’ve prepared it.
