In the shocking conclusion to the previous issue of Avengers of the Wastelands, by Ed Brisson and Jonas Scharf, we learned that Captain America is somehow still alive! Now, in this preview of Avengers of the Wastelands #2, we find out whether that really is Steve Rogers under the mask.
Our heroes are traveling with Cap in the wake of an attack by the forces of Doctor Doom.
And… well, he kinda looks like Steve. He’s aged… a bit. But super soldier serum does wonders for keeping away the wrinkles.
Unfortunately, this reunion is stopped short by an attack!
But when our heroes spring into action…
…we learn that this Captain America is definitely not the same man people once revered… he’s a killer!
Well, that A on his head doesn’t stand for France, after all. Avengers of the Wastelands #2 hits stores on Wednesday.
