Go Hands-On With Animal Crossing: New Horizons For The First Time At PAX East

Nintendo has revealed that it will be bringing Animal Crossing: New Horizons to PAX East this weekend, with a “full-scale immersive experience” set to provide all sorts of fun for fans of the series.

Attendees will get to check out life-sized recreations inspired by the game’s island life, have multiple photo opportunities with costumed characters like K.K. Slider, Isabelle and Tom Nook, and even get their hands on a special Tom Nook themed tote bag while supplies last. Perhaps the most exciting news of all, though, is that fans will be able to take part in the game’s first-ever hands-on event.

Yes, a playable demo will be available to check out ahead of the game’s launch next month, and a guided showcase on Nintendo’s demo stage will also give visitors a tour of the game’s single-player mode.

Nintendo will be offering plenty more at PAX East, too. You’ll also find playable demos of Pokémon Sword and Shield – where you’ll be able to grab a special postcard booklet featuring images from Galar as a gift – as well as other games like Luigi’s Mansion 3 and The Stretchers. You can also grab a photo with a costume Pikachu, which can’t be a bad thing.
