#159: Robot Anatomy Analysis

This week on Toy Power it’s not quite NYTF (but don’t worry, we’ll definitely get to all that toy goodness). But there’s still a lot of pre-New York news to delve into. Is Dino-Riders getting a re-boot? Yes. Does it have Dino’s? You betcha!!! Can you afford it? Probably not. We get a tease into what the G.I. Classified line has to offer, with the very first reveal of everyone’s favorite talkative Ninja: Snake Eyes. And he even gets Frank’s tick of approval (and your new ring-tone!). There’s MOTU: Revelations casting news that has Darren skipping down the mall singing at the top of his voice (and on an unrelated note, the Mall’s never been so uninhabited!) Thanos gets a new figure that your going to be so happy the team over at Mezco decided to click into existence, and the new Two-Face that has so many accessories he might as well be called Fifty-Face! Some delicate observations of a minor “flaw” with the new Masterpiece Arcee, that has some of the strangest descriptions of robotic-female body parts you will ever hear in your life. And how much exactly did Frank have to pay the marketing teams over at Boss Fight Studio to get a figure made in the exact likeness of his Spirit Animal? It’s then over to the guy’s hopes and dreams for New York. Who wants a shiny new Dr. Killemoff? Who is wishing to see what next for Mondo’s Mecha line (Voltron anyone?) And who just wants a pony. Time enough for latest scores, and there’s a bounty of figures… including the extremely impressive Dethlatron from NeMA studios. Nothing (not even receiving the exact measurements), I mean NOTHING could have prepared Ben for the size of this thing. Round it out with a few wonderful reviews, and you good Sir, have a show. It’s no New York, but it’s still a good show.

Support the show.
