Kansas City, Missouri’s Planet Comicon, which was scheduled to take place March 20-22, has been postponed following an order by Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas to restrict gatherings of over 100 people in the city due to the COVID-19 (commonly known as the Coronavirus) pandemic.
The con, which attracted 60,000 visitors in 2019 according to Planet Comicon’s internal metrics, issued a statement announcing the postponement till fall, or possibly till next year.
