10 More Great TV Shows Cancelled After Just One Season

Amongst all of the good TV around right now, there’s lots of crap and a whole host of shows that have become boring, bloated versions of their former selves; however, what about the shows that were never even allowed to thrive? The great shows from past years that were cancelled long before their expiration date was even in sight and were let down by poor ratings, failed promotion and awkward TV slots.

Many of the shows on this list redefined the benchmarks for their genre of TV, showcased young talent long before they became famous and grew strong cult followings. Just because their networks gave up on them, that doesn’t mean we ever did and within this list are some absolute classics that simply weren’t given their chance to continue on and expand in a second season.
