Play Apart Together with Games

The Covid-19 Pandemic has thrusted the world into a state of emergency, as governments and organisations across the world work together to keeping the worlds population safe and enduring these testing times.

In response, Green Man Gaming have teamed up with the World Health Organisation (WHO), along with many other top brands within the Gaming industry, for the Play Apart Together initiative.

What is Play Apart Together?

With physical distancing being the current norm in our lives it’s important to make sure that we stay in contact with others socially, and what better way to do that than with games. Play Apart Together is a campaign to promote social activity through games whilst helping people to stay as safe as possible with positive messages around how you can help to stop the spread of Covid-19.

WHO is working with a variety of recognised gaming industry companies providing details on how you can help stop Coronavirus with easy to follow actions. These messages will be using the #PlayApartTogether to help spread these messages through fun gaming related content from your favourite gaming brands.

How to stay safe

The advise from WHO comes in the form of “The Five”:

1. HANDS Wash them often
2. ELBOW Cough into it
3. FACE Don’t touch it
4. SPACE Keep a safe distance
5. HOME Stay if you can

All these measures can help to stop the spread of the virus and flatten that all important curve. Further advice and details as to how these measures can help, are provided on the WHO website.
