Epic ‘This Is Us’ Reunion Sees Chrissy Metz, Mandy Moore And More

Many celebrities from our favorite TV shows and movies are enjoying reunions using virtual video chats. This is definitely the way to go in these COVID-19 lockdown times, offering more than perfect social distancing! In fact, some daily shows are now filming and airing entirely at the presenters’ homes. Not to be left out, the cast of This is Us also reunites using Zoom to bring a little joy into our living rooms during the quarantine.

Epic reunion sees stars of This is Us Zooming in

The cast of This is Us is used to being together like a real family on the set of the NBC show. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, TV and film productions grind to a halt. The stars now make other plans to see each other and also do some good along the way. Using Zoom is the ideal way to go.

The Stars in the House reunion features Chrissy Metz, Mandy Moore, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Sullivan. Also participating are Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown and Jon Huertas.

As noted by E News, Chrissy Metz shares an image of the This is Us cast on Instagram. She writes that technology is here to bring joy and gratitude to everyone. Chrissy adds she is so happy to see these beautiful faces. Mandy Moore shares the same image, writing she misses her Pearson family so much. She says just seeing these faces lifts her spirits.

In her post, Susan Kelechi Watson writes, “You know like when you just gotta see the fam? Yeah… that part.” She added, “#ThisIsUs zooming.” Chris Sullivan wrote he is enjoying a “quick check in with the fam.”

While Milo, Sterling, Jon and Justin also participate in the reunion, they haven’t yet shared anything on social media. No doubt this will come at some stage.

Cast teams up for a good cause

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the This is Us cast also got together during the week for a good cause. The cast takes the term “We are family” totally seriously and also came together to donate to Frontline Foods.

Frontline Foods partners with the nonprofit organization World Central Kitchen. Their aim to raise money so that restaurants can prepare and deliver delicious meals while using 100 percent of the tax-deductible donations.

Brown and his co-stars contribute enough money for more than 260 meals from Salúd Juicery Oakland and Café Raymond. These are for Allegheny Valley Hospital, Jefferson Hospital and other medical centers in Philadelphia. The delicious food is for the healthcare workers and other essential staff working so hard at these hospitals.
