Looks like Ghost Rider isn’t the only Marvel TV property being co-opted by the larger studio division overseen by Kevin Feige. Jonathan Hickman‘s Secret Warriors is now reportedly in the early stages of development, according to a story by Geeks Worldwide. However, it is unclear whether this is being developed as a series or a film.

Now, this is a tricky one as the Secret Warriors were prominently featured in one of the early seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Two of the main characters of the show, Quake and Yo-Yo, are key members of the team in the comics. The Secret Warrior known as Hellfire also appeared on the show as a villain in a previous season. Needless to say, this is a team deeply ingrained into the DNA of a very beloved show that’s been widely ignored by the MCU. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in many ways a show about the Secret Warriors, albeit a different lineup. It’ll be interesting to see how this pans out down the line.
