Even though All Father Odin bid us farewell during “Thor: Ragnarok,” his actions from the past still came back to haunt his sons. Namely, the fact that he tried to erase every last shred of evidence regarding their long lost sister Hela and she showed up with some amazing powers and an honestly understandable chip on her shoulder. But did you know there are even more branches to this family tree even if we haven’t seen them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet? Their brother, Balder the Brave, was originally going to be an important part of “The Dark World,” before the idea was scrapped. We’ll talk about this God of Light, and how he could have interacted with the trickster Loki and the God of Thunder. Would he have improved their character arcs or would their complicated relationship have detracted from their growth? We’ll fill you in on this secret brother and what this Asgardian family almost looked like.
