The Polestar 1 Has Cracked Future Tech! | FIRST DRIVE

Polestar are bringing the future! The new Polestar 1 makes its dynamic debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed and I’m lucky enough to jump on board the prototype for quite literally its first ever drive! After checking out the prototype Polestar 1 before joining for the ride on track, and then lastly taking a look at the full near-production car to discover more about it.

The Polestar 1 offers new technology in many ways, it’s a hybrid with around 600hp that is pitched as being electric first and petrol second. Not only that but they will also be offering it for sale via an optional subscription service, when sales start next year. Approximately it’ll come in at around £115,000 and up to 500 per year will be built in total.

A big thanks to Polestar for the opportunity to film this video and join them for the first ride with Joakim. I think it’s very exciting what they have in the works for the future and will be intrigued to see as they develop.
