Child-Like Robot ‘Feels’ Pain | Mashable

Researchers from Japan’s Osaka University developed an android straight out of ‘Blade Runner’ whose artificial skin detects pressure changes. The robot winces when it detects pain, and the researchers hope this may help robots learn to translate empathy.
