ROADRUNNER: A Film About Anthony Bourdain – Official Trailer [HD] – In Theaters July 16

It’s not where you go. It’s what you leave behind . . . Chef, writer, adventurer, provocateur: Anthony Bourdain lived his life unabashedly. Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at how an anonymous chef became a world-renowned cultural icon. From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet From Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?), this unflinching look at Bourdain reverberates with his presence, in his own voice and in the way he indelibly impacted the world around him.

  1. I have never cried in my life . Ever .

    Except 6/8/18

  2. We lost Robin Williams, Chris Cornell, Chester Pennington, and Tony Bourdain, all within a few years, to suicide. And they all hung themselves in some manner. Man imagine being so tortured by something that you want to kill yourself yet still not wanting to be too gruesome about it. That's the bipolar working overtime.

  3. BTW chefs are more human than people realize.

  4. Chefs are never fully together that’s why we can deal with the chaos I should know I was one. Bourdain’s having the time of his life right now.

  5. Since your passing, I've watched and appreciated many other shows, but I keep coming back to yours. Even though I enjoy Morgan Freeman's voice narrating things, I'd honestly prefer yours. You are dearly missed, Anthony.

  6. Now I see him on the streets and my head turns without thought to see if it's really him as if moved by some automatic and invisible force even though I'd never met the man. Maybe it was a spirit who'd had waited for the world to hear its voice and once the world had then that was enough? All of those dreams and more.

  7. … I usually don't care when celebraties die but this one, really hit me. He was an amazing soul

  8. im still tearing up every time i see/read anything about this great man! suicide has touched us all in some form or another. and its tragic. just reach out and people will listen!

  9. Miss you Tony. You were one of a kind man 💔

  10. I just hope it's good and not some crap to cash in! he deserves the best

  11. How can you have it so great and think you have it so bad?

  12. UGH, I miss this man so much! He showed more things than just food!

  13. The only celebrity I've ever actually mourned was him. He was a kindred spirit to me and my father and I hope he's in the next life.

  14. I'm preparing to sob like a baby through this.

  15. A film about the man himself. This will be something to watch and try to understand why he left this world so suddenly. It will hopefully rest everyone's minds and closure of some sorts

  16. I haven’t been able to watch a single show since he left us, but this seems like the place to start again.

  17. Was he murdered? Wasn't he about to expose something?

  18. Can’t wait to see this…. what a legend…. so sad.
