A fan film with high quality acting, great cinematography and an interesting story. It’s a dark, gritty and violent take on the Joker’s origin story that gives a compelling and believable account of his slide into crime.
The film was made by two ambitious young filmmakers Nick Janssen and Wout Kanters from Gemert, who make films with their friends for their YouTube channel Woody Wonder. Nick and Wout make fan-made films on Woody Wonder channel, with games and Hollywood films as a source of inspiration.

For Scars, Wout and Nick were inspired by The Joker, the ‘villain’ from the superhero comics. Because although we know what he looks like, we have no idea of ​​his background. Who is The Joker and how does he actually get his scars?
