  5. "All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all." – Isaiah 53:6

" For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, 27 and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations [s]with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing [t]shameful acts and receiving in [u]their own persons the due penalty of their error." -Romans 1:26-27

"And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."- Romans 1:28-32

"Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are [a]under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works [b]of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin. " -Romans 3:19-20

"I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you… " – 1 Corinthians 4:14

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." – Romans 6:23

"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." -Isaiah 53:5

    another translation says:

"He was wounded for our rebellious acts. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace, and we received healing from his wounds." – Isaiah 53:5

"He is the payment for our sins, and not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2

"For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly." -Romans 5:6

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." -1 Peter 2:24

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. " – Isaiah 55:7

"Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved" – Acts 16: 30-31

" that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;" -Romans 10:9

"Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be Saved" -Acts 2:21

"I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols. 26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances."- Ezekiel 36:27

"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" -Acts 4:12

    The Gospel in a Nutshell:

In the Beginning God Created human beings, but humans decided to rebel against God. Sin entered into the world through the disobedience of our forefather Adam. Sin always has negative consequences….

Why? Because that's the way it was created to be. God graciously provides us with a guide to keep us away from destroying ourselves.

God is sovereign therefore whatever he says goes.

The human race decided to turn away from God's law. God is a just judge and cannot let sin go unpunished. The penalty for our sin is death… (that's how bad our sin is in his sight…)

BUT, (this is the Good News) God loves you. He loves you so much that he sent his son, Jesus to die in our place. Jesus was perfect (sinless) and yet died like a crimminal (and ressurrected! 😁) so that we could have eternal life. Now we don't have to suffer in the "second death" a.k.a. Hell. He paid for our bail, taking the fall for us. Now we can be free from sin, and death.

Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved. Turn to him. Draw near to God. Recognize that you are a sinner in need of a savior. Call upon the name of the Lord. (Jesus) Make him your Lord and Savior.
Lord meaning: a person who has authority, control, or power over others.
This means that you willingly agree to submit to Jesus' authority. (btw Jesus is Lord period no matter what anyone has to say about it.)

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
If you do, then you have died to sin, and are alive to Christ. You are made new, born of the spirit. Your life now belongs to God. This doesn't mean that you will never sin, but it's not who you are anymore. You have been made new. You are now seen as righteous. You are no longer a sinner, but are now a Saint. You now have new desires to seek and please God…
It is possible to live in freedom from sin. It is possible to repent. By the power of Holy Spirit. Feed yourself on the word of God constantly. (The Bible) Remain in prayer. (Talk to God like he's your friend. He really does love you and care for you. God wants to talk to you.) God can and will change you.
