Tom Fagan and the Rutland Parade had cameos in close to forty years of comics at
Marvel, DC, Gold Key and WARP graphics.
When did that start and how did it all end?

How did that create Marvel and DC’s first unofficial cross-over?
In uncovering that, we discover it is also an interesting lesson in the early costumed
days of 1960s Fandom and the proto-cosplay movement that matured into today’s
costume play movement at comic conventions. Sorry like cawsplay, not co-splay!
