Rob Minkoff and Mark Koetsier are directing Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank (formerly known as Blazing Samurai), a computer-animated martial arts comedy film. The film is partially based on the 1974 Mel Brooks film Blazing Saddles and was written by Ed Stone and Nate Hopper. Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, George Takei, Gabriel Iglesias, Michelle Yeoh, and Samuel L. Jackson have all contributed their voices to the film. Paramount Pictures has set July 15, 2022 as the release date for the picture in the United States.

Plot

While a wicked cat, Ika Chu, wants to destroy their village, a down-on-his-luck dog, Hank, is groomed to be a samurai by a cat tutor, Jimbo.

Cathy Shim as Little Mama, the grand dame of Kakamucho
