Lila Neugebauer is the director of the upcoming 2022 American psychological drama film Causeway. The screenplay for this movie was written by Elizabeth Sanders, Luke Goebel, and Ottessa Moshfegh. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry and tells the story of a soldier who suffers a traumatic brain injury while serving his country in Afghanistan and finds it difficult to readjust to life back in the US after his return.

On September 10, 2022, the film was shown for the first time anywhere in the world for the very first time at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was shown in a select number of theatres on October 28, 2022, and it is planned to debut on Apple TV+ on November 4, 2022. The movie has been met with generally favourable critical reception, with reviewers specifically appreciating Lawrence and Henry’s performances.

About Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence is a well-known American actress who was born on August 15, 1990. The actress who earned the most money in the world in both 2015 and 2016, her films have earned over $6 billion worldwide to this point. She was included in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time in 2013, as well as the list of the 100 most famous persons in the world by Forbes from 2013 to 2016.

Lawrence participated as an actress in numerous school and church productions throughout her life.
