Cobain’s talent as a songwriter and musician made him one of the most influential figures in rock history. He started playing music at a young age and eventually formed Nirvana with bassist Krist Novoselic in 1987. The band’s success skyrocketed after their album “Nevermind” was released in 1991, which featured hits such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Come As You Are”.
