A Magician Home Alone – Zach King Short Film.

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! Who knows what movie I am parodying?

Zachary King (born February 4, 1990) is a Los Angeles-based internet personality, filmmaker, and illusionist. His “magic vines,” which are six-second movies digitally manipulated to appear as if he is performing magic, have made him famous. His videos are described as “digital sleight of hand.” In 2008, he began uploading videos to YouTube, then in 2013, he began uploading videos to Vine. King first uploaded a video to TikTok in 2016, and he now has over 45 million followers, making him the platform’s third most popular user.

In 2010, King won the Hewlett-Packard commercial contest, earning him a trip to the London Film Festival’s red carpet. He was the winner of YouTube’s NextUp Creators programme in 2013. In 2015, King and his wife Rachel Holm competed in the 28th season of The Amazing Race, an American reality game show. They finished sixth in the overall standings after being eliminated on the ninth leg of the race.

King grew up in Portland, Oregon, where he was born and reared. He is half Chinese on his paternal side, quarter Austrian on his maternal side, and quarter Nicaraguan on his maternal side. King made his first film with a home video camera when he was seven years old. He began filming and editing videos when he was fourteen years old, after purchasing video equipment such as a Mac computer, cameras, and a tripod. In December 2012, he received his bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Media Arts from Biola University.

After being unable to find instructions for the editing software Final Cut Pro on the Internet, King launched his website, FinalCutKing.com, in 2008 to provide training and suggestions on how to use it. Simultaneously, he began posting instructions for visual effects created using the Software on his YouTube account. He began selling training seminars after garnering a following for his website and utilised the proceeds to pay for his college education. In 2012, he was a contender on an episode of Syfy’s Viral Video Showdown. King perplexed the internet in December 2019 with a video of himself supposedly flying on a broomstick. In just four days, the video was seen over 2.1 billion times on TikTok.
