Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is a well-known American singer-songwriter and actor. She was born on February 20, 2003 . She rose to prominence in the latter half of the 2010s because to the leading parts she played on the Disney television series Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. After obtaining record deals with Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo launched her debut single “Drivers License” in 2021.

The song went on to become one of the year’s best-selling singles, catapulting her into the spotlight of the mainstream music industry. She then went on to release the songs “Deja Vu” and “Good 4 U,” as well as her debut solo studio album, Sour (2021).

The album was well received by critics and fans alike, and it went on to win a number of awards, including three Grammys. The following year, in 2022, a Disney+ documentary titled Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U was released, which chronicled her creative process with Sour.

The Recording Industry Association of America has awarded Rodrigo with five multi-Platinum certifications for his work, including two number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, one number-one album on the Billboard 200 chart, and a total of five multi-Platinum certifications (RIAA).

In addition to other recognitions, she has received an American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. She was honoured with the Entertainer of the Year award by Time in 2021, and the Woman of the Year award by Billboard in 2022.
