Linkin Park Releases Devastating New Single, “Lost”

Linkin Park has released a powerful new single, “Lost,” that speaks to the profound sense of loss and emptiness that many have experienced in 2020. The song is emotive and intense, with lead singer Mike Shinoda’s voice cutting through his signature raw beats and heavy riffs. With its moving lyrics, the song beautifully captures the feelings of grief and sorrow that are all too familiar in this tumultuous year.

The track is written from Shinoda’s own experience with grief after the tragic death of his bandmate, Chester Bennington in 2017. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, Shinoda shared that he wrote the song to “help me heal from what I was going through at the time.” He added that “it’s about recognizing that even when you feel lost, you can still be found.
