In a galaxy far, far away, there is a franchise that has captivated the hearts of many. This franchise is none other than the Star Wars series. The series has been around for decades and it shows no signs of slowing down. The series has had a rich history, full of highs and lows. But one thing is for sure, the fans are always there to support it.

The first  movie was released in 1977 and was instantly a hit with audiences. The movie was set in space and featured groundbreaking special effects. It was unlike anything that people had seen before. The movie spawned two sequels, which were also very successful.

“Star Wars” is an American epic space opera franchise, created by George Lucas and centered around a film series that began with the eponymous 1977 movie.

The first film in the series, “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope”, was followed by two sequels, “The Empire Strikes Back” (1980) and “Return of the Jedi” (1983); these three films constitute the original trilogy.

A prequel trilogy was later released, consisting of three prequel films released between 1999 and 2005.
