The Call of Duty franchise has been on the top of the mountain for years, and last year’s Modern Warfare was no different. Alongside that entry also came the free to play Call of Duty: Warzone, a new battle royale entry that’s proven popular in its own big way. But popular plus free also means there’s a lot of cheating going on. Infinity Ward has already brought the ban hammer down on over 70,000 accounts, and now it seems more measures are set to take effect soon.

Via their official Twitter, Infinity Ward outlined new steps that will be taken to combat the cheating. New updates based around security, increased resources, reporting players via killcam and spectate modes and putting suspected cheaters in servers together are all going to be part of new anti-cheat measures. These features will start rolling out this week, so hopefully, it can help with issues that some players have had.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
