About Raven
Raven, the half-demon and daughter of Trigon, is one of DC Comics’ most powerful and beloved characters. She first appeared in a special insert in DC Comics Presents #26 (October 1980) as Rachel Roth, a teenage girl who was struggling to control her dark powers. Since then, Raven has become an integral part of the Teen Titans team, often providing wisdom and insight to her teammates.
Raven’s powers are incredibly powerful but difficult to control sometimes due to her demonic heritage; she has the ability to access other dimensions, astral projection, telekinesis, empathy and more. She can also use a powerful form of magic known as Azarathian Magick which allows her to create portals between realities and cast spells.
Who are the Teen Titans ?
The Teen Titans are a group of young superheroes who have been fighting crime together since their debut in the early 2000s. Comprised of five core members – Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy and Cyborg – this heroic quintet faces off against some of the most powerful villains in the DC Universe. With each member possessing an array of abilities and skills that complement one another perfectly, they make for an unstoppable force against the evil forces threatening their home city and beyond.
The Teen Titans have become so popular over the years due to their incredible chemistry as a team. Each individual is uniquely talented and highly capable on his or her own but when working in conjunction with one another, they prove to be almost unbeatable.
