Researchers Built A Low-Cost Robotic Arm That Folds Towels



A team of researchers at UC Berkeley built a low-cost robotic arm that is safe for humans to work alongside. BLUE’s creators hope that its $5,000 price tag will make it affordable enough so that more and more labs and companies will be able to purchase it and experiment with AI-powered robotics.

BLUE was specifically designed to tackle household chores, paving the way for home robots.
