Sacha Baron Cohen is a British comedian, actor, and writer who has made a name for himself with his unique brand of humor. He is best known for his characters Ali G, Borat Sagdiyev, and Bruno Gehard. These characters are all satirical in nature and aim to expose the flaws in society by using humor.
Baron Cohen got his start in comedy as part of a Cambridge University theater group before moving on to television work. His first major project was The 11 O’Clock Show on Channel 4 in the UK. It was here that he created the character Ali G, a satirical gangsta rapper who conducted interviews with unsuspecting politicians and public figures.
After the success of Ali G, Baron Cohen moved on to his most famous character: Borat Sagdiyev.
