Everyone had a bad day when Thanos came to town, But, for the God of Thunder, his bad day started long before Infinity War. Thor’s bad day began way back in Ragnarok when Hela started breaking Mjolnir and taking over Asgard. Thor’s parade of loss has been drastic. After forming the Revengers with Hulk, Valkyrie, Korg and Miek, and leading the Asgardians to Earth, they ran into Thanos and the Black Order and their population halfing ways. Things may have looked up for the Thunderer when he was picked up by the Guardians of the Galaxy and formed the plan to make Stormbreaker and end Thanos. Unfortunately, it’s all in the aim and, despite the effectiveness of Stormbreaker, he was unable to prevent the snap.

When we return to Thor in Endgame, he’s in bad shape, in more ways than one. Of all of the Avengers, Thor has taken the loss personally, but while Thor might have ended up in a dark place, he’s still Thor, the God of Thunder. Even at his lowest, he’s still pretty badass. With a pep talk from his mother Frigga, he delivered the goods. Whether it comes in the form of fixing his aim, facial hair management or just celebrating the worthiness of his teammates, Thor managed to make us smile. The founding Avenger showed why he’s a fan favorite, so here are some reasons that Thor was still badass in Endgame.
