The idea of dressing up in a costume to fight crime with your amazing superpowers sounds like every person’s dream, yet not a lot of people realize how many rules and regulations they’d have to follow if they lived in a superpowered world. That’s especially true in the One Punch Man anime, where heroes like Saitama, Genos and the unbeatable Mumen Rider have to follow strange rules if they want to survive and thrive in the world.

So even though you have a strong sense of justice, there are rules every hero must follow in the One Punch Man world. Maybe if Saitama followed these a little better, he’d be given more recognition for his insane talents! Things like registering with the National Hero Registry and the Hero Association, passing the Hero Exam and keeping up with your weekly quota are all important, but there are a few unspoken rules as well, like apparently having the silliest superhero names imaginable or treating C-Class heroes like dirt. All of these rules must be followed if a person truly wants to succeed as a hero in the show.
