Moose Toys to launch first toy range for Bluey to the US market – ToyNews

The Australian toy company, Moose Toys is introducing the first collection of Bluey toys, based on the BBC Studios series Down Under, to the US market this summer, with a planned launch for August 1st, 2020.

Moose Toys has detailed its plans ahead of New York Toy Fair – running from February 22nd to 26th – where it will debut the range to visitors to its booth at New York’s Javits Convention Centre.

Bluey currently airs on the US on Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Junior. It was Australia’s number one children’s television series of 2019, peaking at the top spot on the iTunes children’s chart, and the number one programme ever on Australia’s ABC iview.

The debut line of Bluey toys was also a sellout success last year in Australia. Moose brings Bluey to life for American children through a collection of play-sets, figures, plush characters, and accessories featuring Chilli (Mum), Bandit (Dad), and Bingo (Sister).

Bluey follows the adventures of the six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her dad, mom, and four-year-old little sister, Bingo. In each episode, Bluey uses her limitless Blue Heeler energy to play elaborate games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways.

Bluey is produced by the Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio for ABC KIDS (Australia) and is co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios.
