Is there anything out there better than the Avatar franchise? That’s a trick question because no, no there’s not. People have been OBSESSED with Avatar: The Last Airbender so much recently that that love is starting to follow to its sequel series, The Legend of Korra. While this has led to a lot more adoration for both shows, it’s also stirred up an ancient argument that has plagued Avatar fans for years. Which Avatar is better, Aang or Korra?

Well, that’s an incredibly difficult question to answer. Why? Well, that’s because both characters are FREAKIN’ AMAZING. Seriously, on the one hand you have a little kid who managed to unite an entire world. On the other hand you have a teenager who had to fight against the literal embodiment of chaos. How do you choose between those two?

Well, we’ve analyzed both characters, their powers and their ultimate victories over evil. Watch as we go through the life of Aang of the Air Nomads and his troubled journey to master all four elements before Sozin’s comet arrives and allows for the Fire Lord to conquer the world.
