1. Gotham Season 5 – January 3
Comic book fans are in for a treat in 2019, especially the fans of DC Comics, considering the number of new titles and renewed seasons coming out. Beginning our list with Gotham, what has been a great run for the prequel story of the Dark Knight, not belonging to any connected universe, it has entered its final season. Also, the fifth season is going to depict the final transformation of Bruce Wayne into Batman. The first episode drops on January third.

2. Deadly Class – January 16
The Russo Brothers have taken a break from working on superheroes after Avengers: Endgame but they aren’t going away from comic book adaptations. From then on, it’s his struggle trying to fit in among the misfits of deadly characters who also want to change the world for better using their skills. It arrives on January 16.

Doom Patrol is the second TV show coming from the streaming platform DC Universe, after Titans. For now, we only have a short teaser showing the entire roster of the superpowered outcasts. All of them have had some or the other life endangering experience but were ultimately saved, thanks to some experimental treatment. Although the other characters are straight from the comics, the addition of Cyborg was a surprise to everyone. However, his origin completely fits the description of the Doom Patrol. The show releases in DC Universe on February 15.

4. The Umbrella Academy – February 15

6. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 6 – July
The last few episodes of Agents of SHIELD had been running in parallel with the events of Infinity War. Although we were expecting some of the characters turning into dust after the inevitable snap, it wasn’t carried in the show. Whatever the reason might have been, it won’t really matter since the sixth season is going to arrive in July, after Avengers: Endgame, when everything will probably go back to normal.

7. Watchmen
Not much is known about the upcoming TV show on Watchmen, the limited series comic book created by Alan Moore and Dave
Gibbons. Being developed by HBO, all we know is that Ozymandias is going to be present but he’s going to be older. It’s going to be a
completely new story written by Damon Lindelof who is also the executive producer of the project. With high respect for the source
material, Damon has assured fans that he won’t be messing with the original story. Apart from a few teaser images, nothing much is
known about the release date or the plot of the new series.

Teased at the New York Comic Con, the animated Harley Quinn series will explore her journey of trying to find herself a spot in the
