  1. Finished season 1 yesterday, what a let down. I am genuinely annoyed and dissapointed, this show had so much more potentional

  2. This anime had potential but turned out to be trash

  3. And this anime became 1 of the biggest disappointments of 2021

  4. The story of Yasuke deserves studio Madhouse instead.

  5. Saw it and its dope.
    I also recommend "Invincible "

  6. This show is trash and an embarrassment.

  7. I swear I saw dororo running on the bank of the river

  8. It may have potential. But I feel like from what I’m getting from the trailer might have too much plot. Like a African warrior being taken to Japan and chosen to become a samurai, facing the prejudice and stress of that environment seems interesting enough already. But then inserting magic, demon armies and a girl with mystical powers seems like overkill. I fear that the stuff about him being an actual samurai is only gonna be in the first opening minutes or at most the first episode. This trailer is gives the impression of a story that needs 2 seasons being crushed into 1. And that lip-synching isn’t helping it either.

  9. For an Animé it's great! As a movie based on History, it's trash! We finally get another Black Role to bring to the forefront and teach other Black Children about the Power they have inside and instead they release this Crap!

  10. Yasuke: The African Samurai…starring Tom Cruise

  11. Real Life Adaption would have starred Chadwick Boseman…RIP

  12. hell yeah sick fighting , sick music, and sick storytelling count me in

  13. If you haven’t watched it already. Do it

  14. Is it just me or does this anime give me Samurai Champloo vibes???

  15. This show turned out to be real bogus. Not going to lie. I'm so disappointed. The robots and mystical aspects ruined the show. I was hoping for a show similar to Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin. An accurate setting in feudal Japan that told Yasuke's story from how he came to Japan to how he served Oda Nobunaga and his exploits in battle. You know, an actual history lesson of sorts! Missed opportunity. 2 out of 10 for me.

  16. A samurai with afro, where i see this before… wait a minute!!!

  17. I finished episode 1 when does this get good

  18. This soundtrack bussin bussin respectfully 😤😤

  19. Well anime knows their American audience ig lol

  20. This anime is so pleasing to watch, thanks maps for another masterpiece 🙏🏾
