After surviving a heart attack, Randal Graves decides to make a movie with Dante Hicks about their lives at the Quick Stop convenience store

Kevin Smith will write, produce, direct, and edit the upcoming American comedy film Clerks III. Smith is also the film’s director. It is planned to act as a sequel to the films that were released in 1994 and 2006, making it the ninth feature film overall that takes place in the View Askewniverse. The film stars Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Trevor Fehrman, Austin Zajur, Jason Mewes, Rosario Dawson, and Smith. The plot centres on Randal Graves, who, after surviving a heart attack, decides he wants to make a movie with Dante Hicks about their lives working at the Quick Stop. Randal wants to tell the story of how he and Dante met and fell in love while working there.

Before Lionsgate releases the movie to the general public on September 13, 2022, it will have its global premiere on September 4, 2022 in Red Bank, New Jersey.
