Rob Zombie is the man behind the production, writing, and directing of The Munsters, an upcoming American comedy film. The plot of the story, which is an origin story for the characters and is based on a family sitcom from the 1960s with the same name, takes place before the events that have already been reproduced in the series. In the role of the titular family, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Daniel Roebuck take centre stage in this movie. Sylvester McCoy plays the role of Igor, and Richard Brake takes on the role of Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang.

The Munsters, which will be distributed by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and is the result of a collaboration between Universal 1440 Entertainment and Spookshow International Films, is slated to be released in September 2022.
