The Force is Strong with Ahsoka: New Star Wars Series Announced

Disney+ has announced that a new Star Wars series centered around the beloved character Ahsoka Tano, one of Anakin Skywalker’s apprentices and a major figure in the franchise, is being developed for the streaming service.

Ahsoka Tano first appeared in the animated series The Clone Wars and has since become a fan favorite character. The upcoming series will follow her journey after the events of The Clone Wars, during which she left the Jedi Order and ventured out into an unknown future. It will be set in a time when the Empire is at its height, giving viewers an opportunity to see how she handles this new galactic landscape.

The series will be executive produced by Dave Filoni, who also executive produced The Clone Wars as well as Rebels and Resistance, two other successful animated Star Wars shows.
