The name Malak resonates with fans of the Star Wars franchise, particularly those who are well-versed in the lore of the Old Republic. This enigmatic character played a pivotal role in shaping the galaxy’s destiny during a time long before the rise of the Jedi Order as we know it today. Malak’s story is one filled with tragedy, betrayal, and redemption, making him one of the most intriguing figures in Star Wars history.
Born as Alek Squinquargesimus on the war-torn planet Quelii, Malak’s journey would take him from a humble beginning to becoming Darth Revan’s most trusted ally and later his fiercest adversary. As a young Jedi Knight, Malak fought alongside Revan during their mission to end Mandalorian aggression.

George Lucas created Star Wars, an American epic space-opera multimedia franchise. After selling his production company to Disney in 2012, George Lucas relinquished his rights to the Star Wars franchise, leading to the creation of a sequel trilogy that included Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015).
Despite the consideration of the other seven films in the series, the first two instalments of the “Skywalker Saga” were awarded Oscars. With the inclusion of the live-action “anthology” films Rogue One (2016) and Solo (2018), the franchise has now become the second-highest grossing film franchise globally, accumulating over $10 billion at the box office. There are currently other movies in development, including an untitled film directed by Taika Waititi scheduled for release in 2023, and Rogue Squadron directed by Patty Jenkins, although no release date has been announced yet.
